Plastic (Hard)

Includes toys, garden furniture, storage boxes, plastic corrugated sheets etc.

Can be reused:

• If in good condition donate to a local reuse organisation or charity
• List on reuse websites i.e. Freecycle or Gumtree

To dispose of hard plastics:

• Take to your local recycling and household waste site. Where sustainable outlets are not available to the Council, the material may be mixed with general waste and sent to landfill or energy recovery.
• Contact your district council to see if they collect this as part of their bulky waste collection service
• Put in your general waste bin – remember to recycle any card
