Regular physical activity is good for your physical and mental health. It’s recommended adults get active for a minimum of 150 minutes every week, or 20 minutes a day.

Exercise in childhood is good for strength, co-ordination, fitness and maintaining a healthy weight. Research has also found it can help children with their mood, sleep, behaviour, performance at school and self-confidence.
