Business continuity
A Business Continuity plan will help you spot risks and make sure you have a strategy in place to recover quickly from any unplanned interruptions to your business, such as:
- Your premises becoming inaccessible due to flooding or fire
- Critical members of staff being absent for longer than expected
- IT systems and/or telephone becoming unavailable for a long time
Writing a Business Continuity plan will improve your response to a major incident. Should the worst happen, you’ll be able to get back to business quickly, limiting any financial or reputational damage.
We provide information and advice on business continuity planning in partnership with the Local Resilience Forum, Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR) Prepared.
The LLR Prepared website has advice which can help you to identify the key products and services within your business.
By identifying these and the staff that you’d need to support your business you can create a plan to mitigate risks and recover quickly from any disruption.
