A short video has been made for anyone interested in attending Leicestershire County Council’s fostering information evenings.

The 60-second clip gives people a flavour of the events, such as the one to be held today (Thursday), and can be viewed at www.leicestershire.gov.uk/find-out-about-fostering

The informal events provide those interested in fostering with a relaxed atmosphere to find out more from experienced staff and carers.

Our fostering events are designed for people to find out more about fostering with the council from our knowledgeable staff, as well as current foster carers.

“Questions can be discussed over tea and biscuits with other like-minded people. So if you want to find out more about fostering, we really encourage you to come along and find out more about making a difference to a child’s life.

The events take place at County Hall at 6:30pm-8pm, although visitors are advised to arrive at main reception for 6:15pm.

There a number of events over the next couple of months, including the following dates:
• Thursday, 22 June;
• Wednesday, 12 July;
• Thursday, 3 August;
• Wednesday, 23 August; and
• Thursday, 14 September.
