Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle are inviting 1200 members of the public to be a part of the Royal Wedding Day on 19 May.
Those selected will be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to witness the arrival of the bride and groom, and their wedding guests, and to watch the carriage procession as it departs from the castle.
The couple has asked that the people chosen are from a broad range of backgrounds and ages, including young people who have shown strong leadership, and those who have served their communities. Each of those chosen will be able to be accompanied by one guest (for young people aged under 18, their guest must be aged over 21).
There are 6 places available for Leicester and Leicestershire, and nominations should be submitted to the Lord-Lieutenant, by 9am on Monday 12 March. When making a nomination please provide the full name, postal address, age (if under 18) and a paragraph explaining why the person is being nominated.
