The Secretary of State appointed Mr S Dean MA MRTPI to conduct the Public Inquiry. Details of the procedure for the Inquiry, including submission of documents, can be found in the Pre-Inquiry Note issued by the Inspector:

The Inquiry was held at The Fieldhead Hotel, Markfield Lane, Markfield, Leicestershire LE67 9PS.

The Inquiry began at 10am on Tuesday 11 June 2024, and closed on Tuesday 16 July 2024. The Inspector's decision is awaited.
