The Company was established explicitly out of the personal experience, passion and commitment to providing the high quality of care. The Company provides Supported Living services to 18-65 years old with handicap/disabilities or those who are developmentally challenged. We aim to provide a happy and safe place to live as well as an excellent quality of care. Our objectives are to train our staff and to offer real choice to support and assist service users in becoming as independent as they possibly can. Services may vary due to personalised care needs, but Unity is committed to providing the best care. Examples of the activities that our staff assists with are:
• Bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Shopping
• Money management
• The teaching of life skills, e.g. cooking, cleaning, social interactions
• Daily activities, e.g. visits to places of the interest
• Medication assistance and Administration
