The Oak Treehouse inclusive playscheme

It is suitable for children aged 4 - 12 years, activities include arts & crafts, den building, tree spirits, Wii games, cooking and many more.

The playscheme can take a maximum of 24 children per session.

Whilst we can not split children into small groups our setting is fully accessible to wheelchairs inside and outside. We do have a quite area for children who may require it.

1:1 support can be provided subject to funding. 

We have experience in supporting children with the following needs/conditions  ASD, ADHD, Physical Disability, Sensory Needs, Diabetes, Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficuties, Learning Disability, Epilepsy, Speech and Language Difficulties, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment.

Our staff are trained in:

• Positive Behaviour Management
• Autism
• Makaton/British Sign Langauge

We also provide a 34 place Nursery care from our purpose built premises. Working within a children's centre, to provide a nursery, 2+ and 3+ funding and wrap around care, working in partnership with all of the schools in Shepshed, we provide a rich learning environment. We pride ourselves in having a small, friendly family feel nursery within school grounds, with all staff including Manager/Owner living within the surrounding Community. A sensory secret garden for children to dig, plant and explore.
