Royal National Insitute of Blind People (RNIB)

The RNIB is one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities and the largest community of blind and partially sighted people.

We recognise everyone’s unique experience of sight loss and offer help and support for blind and partially sighted people – this can be anything from practical and emotional support, campaigning for change, reading services and the products we offer in our online shop.  You can find a sight loss organisation or service near you through the Sightline Directory.

RNIB Connect is a diverse community led by blind and partially sighted people that brings together anyone affected by sight loss.  It is free to join and members can connect with others, take part in local and national activities, and join peer support groups.

Speak to a Sight Loss Adviser by calling our Helpline on 0303 123 9999, 8am-8pm on weekdays and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.

If you don’t have access to email, you can also hear lots of information, opportunities and listen to Connect Radio podcasts through the RNIB Info Line, our recorded information service, on 0203 432 1488.
