New Ways To Learn – Minecraft Summer School

Our summer scheme is suitable for young people aged 7 - 13 years.

We use the education version of Minecraft to ensure that play and learn in a safe and sensible way. We’ll be doing lots of building and teamwork activities both in Minecraft and also outdoors – weather permitting every day.

Activities focus on working together, communicating, sharing resources, and have heaps of opportunity to code and program bots for automated building.

Activities may also include:

  • Scratch coding projects
  • Code Studio 2018
  • Bug hunts outdoors
  • Outdoor teamwork activities

New this year!

  • Roblox -Using our dedicated VIP server, we’ll be giving students timeouts and team activities with Roblox including:
  • Natural Disaster Survival
  • Designing a Theme Park
  • Hide and Seek Extreme
  • Speed Run 4 Time Trials for prizes.

The staff who run the scheme have recieved training in Positive behaviour Management, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, it is led by a teacher who used to be an Assistant Principle in a large inner city school in Nottingham where he taught many children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. 

Venue is fully accessible with accessibility to playing field outside.

Max 25 children split into age groups

We are not able to provide 1-1 support

Cost: £30 per day or £125 for a week
