K9 Savvy supports adults with learning difficulties with outdoor training and support to eventually find paid or voluntary employment. Using woodwork, gardening and working with dogs we develop the adults understanding and skills that can be transferred to home and the workplace.
Trainees learn to work safely and in a team when needed. Our attitude is not 'No you can't it's too dangerous' it is 'Right how can we make that safe for you to try?'
We have experience in supporting clients with mild and moderate learning disabilities, severe learning disability, downs syndrome, attention disorders, autism spectrum disorder, challenging behaviour, stress or anxiety.
