Into The Woods Forest School

Into The Woods Forest School is an independent forest school that is set in accessible ancient woodland within Charnwood Forest. We are surrounded by an abundance of flora and fauna and provide opportunities to discover, connect and nurture. We follow and foster children's independence and interests and include natural craft, fire lighting, bushcraft skills, species ID with plenty of space to explore and time to learn at your own pace. We have regular sessions on Mondays and Fridays but also provide 1:1 sessions and a Home Ed class (currently on Wednesdays). We have a wealth of experience between staff: Forest School Leader level 3, food hygiene, first aid, 9 years as a Primary Teacher, a textiles degree, Girlguiding leader, certificate in understanding children's and young people's mental health, basic understanding of BSL and first hand experience of Looked after children and adoption.
