Eyres Monsell Club For Young People

Our organisation has been on the estate since 1964, Eyres Monsell Club for Young People (EMCYP) is a registered charity youth organisation, providing informal education for young people. Eyres Monsell Adult inclusion project would be different to a mainstream youth work provision. We will be providing a number of key outcomes of the project. One would be attending the weekly sessions to help the young adults gain more independence and develop their day-to-day life skills. Once a month we will be going on a trips that is aged appropriate for the group and introducing them to socialising in an adult environment whilst still providing them with support. Our adult inclusion group will enable members to make new friendship groups. This will enable them to build on their self-confidence, self-esteem and help them identify when to take healthy risks that would benefit them.
