Dove Cottage - Palliative Day Care

Dove Cottage has two hospices – one in Stathern, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, and one in Ridlington, Rutland.

We offer high quality palliative/end of life day care to people in NE Leicestershire, Rutland and SE Nottinghamshire who are living with a life-limiting illness, such as cancer, motor neurone disease or COPD.

As a charity, we offer our care services free of charge. The hospice provides nursing care and advice, wellbeing activities such as complementary therapies, chaplaincy team support, games, crafts, refreshments and a home-cooked lunch. Our guests come to the hospice to be cared for in a home from home atmosphere, usually for one day a week. We also have a range of support services such as Dementia Support Groups, Family Support Group (carers’ lunches) and bereavement support.

Dove Cottage Day Hospice provides a range of services for guests over the age of 18 with an active, advanced, progressive, incurable disease, where the treatment is palliative.
