Dementia Harborough

Congregational Church, Jubilee Hall, Bowden Lane, LE16 7JD

Dementia Harborough is a Harborough-based independent charity and run entirely by unpaid Trustees and Volunteers. We provide a fun and friendly environment for those recently diagnosed with dementia and their carers.

Our activities are aimed at the carer and cared-for together, so that they can enjoy activities and have mutual support and friendship with those in a similar situation. As well as advice and support, we offer:

  • A monthly Dementia Cafe on the third Tuesday of each month at 2pm, with a different activity every month
  • A monthly singing group on the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm where everyone can participate in the beneficial effects of music and song in a group - no singing ability required!
  • Coach trips out – for example, to the Curve Theatre for dementia-friendly performances of their shows, and to Wistow Rural Centre.

Please contact us for more information.

There is a public car park immediately adjacent to Jubilee Hall
