Croft Good Neighbour Scheme

The Croft Good Neighbour scheme provides short term assistance for the residents of Croft through the help of local volunteers, all of whom have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The scheme also endeavours to encourage self-help, friendship and neighbourliness within the local community. The scheme is for everyone regardless of age, so if you are in need of help, please get in touch.  These are just some of the things that we can help you with:

  • transport (e.g. doctor or hospital appointments)
  • shopping
  • befriending
  • household assistance
  • using the Internet
  • form-filling
  • occasional dog-walking.

The above list is not exhaustive so if there is something else you need help with, please call us, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
