Creating Tomorrow College (open 2 years), is a DfE registered Specialist Post-16 Institute part of Creating Tomorrow MAT, offering post-18 study programmes to support students with special educational needs transition into adulthood. All students have an EHC Plan & have a primary diagnosis of Cognition & Learning and may have additional needs such as communication & interaction, or physical difficulties. Two pathways / courses are on offer and the college also offers Supported Internships. All courses are 5 days a week Pathway to Employment equips students with the knowledge, skills and experience to pursue a career in their chosen vocational area. This will continue to build upon competences and abilities developed within the Independence pathway (in development) or school, Supported Internships are designed to provide learners with SEND the opportunity to gain practical work experience and develop employability skills, being specifically tailored to bridge the gap between education and employment by offering a structured and supportive environment. Creating Tomorrow College supported internships are highly personalised to meet the individuals aspirational outcomes employment.
