Delivered by the Children and Family Wellbeing Service (Previously known as SLF), our 'Inspire' SEND Group is an invitation only group especially for young people with Special Educational Need or disability (SEND) 11-18 years. We also run a SEND+ Group in Charnwood that is for young people aged 16+
The aim of these groups is for young people with additional needs to come together in a safe place and interact with their peers, providing them a sense of belonging.
Where the needs are preventing them from reaching developmental mile stones.
Our SEND group provides young people with the opportunity to have fun and get involved in various activities and discussion and develop in a safe environment.Youth Workers and volunteers are always available to provide guidance and support when and where required.
Our Inspire SEND Group runs Thursdays 6pm - 8pm
Our SEND+ Group runs Wednesdays 6pm - 8pm
