Birch Court - Extra Care Housing Scheme

Built in 2000 and renovated in 2012, Birch Court is an extra care housing scheme with 32 one and two bed apartments for rent. It’s located approximately 1.2 miles away from Blaby town centre with all its amenities.

The scheme has a range of communal areas including a shop, dining area, lounge, laundry facilities, garden, library, hairdressers and assisted bathrooms. There’s plenty of opportunity to get involved with the resident community with trips, music and fundraising events.  All flats have a living area, kitchen, bedroom(s), storage facilities and a level access shower. Birch Court is pet friendly and both cats and dogs are accepted.

The scheme has on-site care and support staff (24 hours, 7 days a week), non-resident management staff and Careline alarm service.

Our residents are predominantly over 55 years of age, but we also welcome younger people with a disability. Our vision is to help everyone to live a full and independent life.
