Beaumanor Hall Christmas gift fair

Step into the festive season this weekend as Beaumanor Hall’s annual Gift Fair makes its return.

Taking place over three consecutive weekends on 23 and 24 November, 30 November and 1 December, and finally 7 and 8 December, the event will showcase over 70 local makers and crafters each day, selling anything from Christmas ornaments, to glass art and cheese.

Parking is free and entry is just £3 per person and free for anyone aged 12 and under. Doors for each day of the Festive Gift Fair open from 10am to 4pm.

Last year’s event saw nearly 7,500 visitors pass through the hallways of Beaumanor, and this year’s offering is proving to be bigger and better than ever with live musical entertainment and delicious refreshments and treats, including mulled wine, mince pies and traditional favourites with a festive twist, on offer.

Councillor Lee Breckon, Leicestershire County Council cabinet member for resources, said: “Beaumanor Hall’s rich and varied history make it an iconic Leicestershire venue, and a wonderful venue to host the Festive Gift Fair. As well as finding the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one, visitors will join us in celebrating the hard work, skill and dedication shown by so many small local businesses.”

Further information about the event is available at Beaumanor Hall's website.

Beaumanor Hall has been run by Leicestershire County Council since the 1970s and offers a wide range of facilities including weddings, outdoor activities, corporate events and conferences.
