Two reports have been published which highlight how the council is changing and improving.

In February 2015, the council’s Cabinet agreed a new approach to making commissioning decisions which would help make the most of resources and focus on customers and communities.

The annual report for commissioning highlights some of the achievements made in year one of this four year strategy as well as the plans for the next 12 months. This includes case studies of how the council has made changes.

As well as progress on commissioning, the council has released the annual report for the transformation programme.  This document contains summaries, illustrations and video clips which highlight the progress made on projects which has enabled savings of £23 million.

Both documents will be provided to members at Cabinet and Scrutiny meetings during April as part of the background to their discussion of the County Council’s Strategic Plan.
