People interested in fostering can chat with carers at a special event being held at County Hall.

The informal session will take place on Wednesday 19 July and will provide an opportunity for people to meet and talk to carers, as well as Leicestershire County Council's fostering team.

Every year, foster carers retire or their circumstances change, so the council is always actively looking for new people to come forward.

The event takes place from 6.30 pm - 8.30pm at County Hall in Glenfield (LE3 8RA). Please arrive at the main reception by 6pm so that you can be registered and the event can start on time.

If you'd like to attend, please fill out the Join a fostering event form and we'll be in touch with further details.

You can find out about fostering with Leicestershire County Council by visiting the Fostering Leicestershire website, calling the team on 0116 305 0505, or emailing fostering@leics.gov.uk
