Residents, businesses and motorists have until Sunday (15 October) to have their say on a Leicestershire County Council scheme to tackle road congestion.
People from across the county still have time to share their views on a recommended route for a distributor road, which would create a 4.3mile single carriageway built to the east of Melton Mowbray’s town centre.
The county council and Melton Borough Council-led project, which could cost up to £100 million, aims to tackle traffic congestion and improve the quality of life of residents and businesses.
Melton’s congestion is constraining the town’s growth and we need to unlock this so that the town can achieve its potential.
