People are being asked for their views on the Leicestershire County Council’s refreshed Adults and Communities Strategy for 2025-2029.
The Adults and Communities Department covers a wide range of services including libraries, heritage, museums and collections, cultural participation, adult learning and adult social care. They work together to promote wellbeing and ensure that adults living in Leicestershire can lead active, independent and fulfilling lives.
The draft strategy details the ambitions, aims and goals of the department over the next four years (2025 – 2029).
The consultation is looking to hear from residents about these services, to help shape how they can continue to support wellbeing and the best possible outcomes for people in Leicestershire.
We are ambitious in our vision to deliver wellbeing and opportunity in Leicestershire and ensure that all adults living in Leicestershire lead active, independent, and fulfilling lives.
Even if you don’t think you use these services now, you might need to in the future, that’s why it’s important for you to let us know what you think so that we deliver the right services in the right place, at the right time.
Key to this ambition is to ensure we deliver the best value to local people through cost effective support and continuous improvement.
Person:Councillor Christine Radford, cabinet member for adults & communities
