Finding out more about fostering

County Hall hosts event on 4th July

Why foster with us?

Kind-hearted individuals are being asked to step forward and become foster parents for vulnerable children and young people in Leicestershire.

Leicestershire County Council is hoping the next informal information evening it hosts, due to be held from 6.30pm - 8pm on Wednesday July 4 at County Hall in Glenfield, will encourage more people to open up their homes to children in need.

The event will provide an opportunity for people to meet and talk to carers, as well as the council’s fostering team and find out about how providing foster care is a hugely rewarding role.
