Hundreds of part-time day, evening and weekend courses are now available online at the Leicestershire Adult Learning service website.

People who would like to learn a new skill, improve their job prospects or develop a new interest  are being urged to find out more.

There will also be a 10 per cent 'early bird discount' on course tuition fees for people who enrol before Friday, 31st August.

We know the courses available through the service can make a real difference to people's lives as they are designed to help learners back into the job market, improve their maths and English as well as their health and wellbeing. The courses can also support their children's learning. I'd encourage people to have a look at the courses on offer as it's a great opportunity for them to try something different

To find out more, search and enrol online at golearnleicestershire.ac.uk or call the Leicestershire Adult Learning Service on 0800 988 0308 to speak to an advisor, who can provide information on the courses and fees, including paying by instalments. The lines are open from 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday.

Anyone in receipt of certain benefits, or on a low income, can receive a 70 per cent discount on adult education courses, or may be entitled to attend for free.

The range of courses include:

Employability and Skills for Jobs courses;

Courses for learners who first language is not English (ESOL);
