Our emphasis is very much on the outdoors, with our large outdoor area including vegetable patches, sand and mud pits, a hill and tunnel, a story telling circle and much more. We also have a covered veranda allowing outdoor play whatever the weather. There is also another small, fully enclosed garden for the smaller children. Inside the building we have two rooms, divided to provide for the three different age ranges - babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers - all of which have direct access to the outdoor areas. We attend Forest School sessions in a local woodland and have visiting ballet and music teachers. The staff are very highly qualified - with an EYP leader, two graduate managers and the remaining staff all at least Level 3 qualified. We maintain high staff:children ratios and small group sizes. We are situated next to the village primary school with whom we have close links, ensuring a smooth transition to school.
