Children are cared for in a well thought out, calm, enabling environment which helps them to make good progress in their learning. Staff offer an inclusive and welcoming service, supporting all the children to actively participate in activities which meet their individual interests and developmental needs. Overall the quality of the provision is 'Good' (Ofsted 2012). The aims of our pre-school are to provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age to embrace the new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and use it as the basis of our approach to early learning and development; to work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop; to ensure that each child is in a safe and stimulating environment; to offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity. Children are cared for by qualified and experienced staff.
