I offer a home from home environment for children where they can feel safe and happy to learn but most importantly have fun. We enjoy painting, playdough, glueing and sticking, song and dance time, water and sand play, story time, plus like to enjoy free play with a variety of toys for all ages. I encourage the children to learn through play, become confident to try new things, share, respect each other, socialise and help them to get ready for going to school. We often attend local toddler groups where the children can make new friends and play independently. We also regularly visit a Residential Care Home where we interact with the elderly residents. This is something that the children really enjoy. I encourage a good working relationship between myself and parents so that continuity of care for the children is maintained. I am married and have two children. My daughter is also Ofsted registered as my Assistant, although she does also work full time as a Deputy Manager at a Children''s Home.
