I gained a BTEC National Diploma in childhood studies and went on to work for nurseries for 8 years, gaining valuable knowledge and experience. I then had my first child and needed a job that better suited family life, so I registered as a childminder as work with my mum (Janet Bullock) from her home. I have been childminding for 9 years. Together we have many years' of experience providing a safe, caring and homely environment where children thrive and meet their true potential in a fun and exciting way. We provide various activities, toys and experiences both indoor and out. I also work two mornings at Bizzy Bees pre-school, where a lot of the children in our care also attend. This helps them to settle more easily into their new setting and provides a close partnership between the two settings, providing a consistent approach to learning.
