It is my aim to provide a high quality childminding service. I promote learning through structured play activities as well as allowing time in the day for independent play and response to spontaneous events. I work according to ''SureStart : Birth to 5''. I have a range of toys and books and lots of ideas for fun learning activities. I do not have a TV or computer in the childminding room as I believe children should learn through play and not through TV. Instead we build with blocks, sticklebricks, play with dolls, dolls house, pots and pans, tool bench, cars, trains, jigsaws, Play-Doh, painting, drawing, lots of crafts - I am a very crafty person and the children frequently have items to take home including things that they have baked. My last Ofsted inspection was in March 2024 and I received a good grade. I have worked with children for over 20 years and I have completed several courses in childcare, child play etc. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
