My childminding setting called 'Oadbee Childcare' is a four bedroom house with a separate playroom for indoor play and a spacious garden for outdoor activities where I live with my husband (CRB checked) and our children who go to the local primary school. I charge #5 per hour which includes homecooked meals (breakfast, lunch, tea, healthy snacks), nappies, wipes and sun cream. The children are not given any sweets or biscuits unless we are celebrating something at the setting. Only whole milk and water provided for drinks. No sugary or fizzy drinks. We love going out for welly walks, making trips to the playground and to the shops, going to the library, doing lots of arts and crafts, playing in the garden, dressing up, role-playing, and much more! We have themed activities during the popular festivals like Halloween, Diwali, Eid, Christmas etc. One of the favourite activities is our weekly Show & Tell. Recommendations provided on request.
