I aim to provide a safe, happy and enjoyable environment for the children in my care. I have a large dedicated playroom and garden for lots of fun, active and messy play but use the whole of the lower floor of my house so have plenty of space to engage in cooking or quieter activities. I live within walking distance of 2 parks, library, surestart centre and leisure centre and a short drive from Conkers, National Forest walks, Twycross Zoo and soft play centres. I have always had a passion for working with children and have had over 10 years' experience working closely with children and their families. I have a First Class Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and been awarded my Early Years Professional Status. I am first aid trained and have had training in child protection and food hygiene. Over the years I have also attended a vast amount of child based training courses such as Behaviour and Emotional development, Makaton signing and the importance of outdoors to name a few.
