I have been a childminder for the past 28 years, I started when a friend asked if I would care for her twins. From then on I have looked after many children of various ages. I now work with my daughter who has worked as a nursery nurse for 8 years and now worked with myself for the past 8 years as a childminder. Between us we have many years of experience. Together we provide a warm caring, safe environment where children can learn and develop their skills through having fun and using their interests as a basis for learning. We provide many activities and toys. My home is an ideal location situated close to parks, the school and a farm ideal for walks. I have a large garden where the children can explore the natural environment and wildlife and growing plants. Children also learn social skills, sharing, manners and respect for my home and towards others and make many friends.
