Fairfield Pre-School

The Fairfield Preschool is based within the grounds of The Fairfield Community Primary School. It has a lovely outdoor environment for the children to explore. We use the primary hall once a week for the children to express, build confidence and learn new skills. This will enable our children to settle into the surroundings of the Primary school, before they transition into the Reception class. The Preschool is managed by a qualified level 3 in Early years, who has a degree in Management and Leadership and has worked with children of all ages and abilities for many years. The Preschool assistant has a Level 3 in Early years and has worked with children of all ages, particularly reception class aged children. Our Preschool provides a fun, engaging and safe environment for children to learn, grow and develop through play based learning. We follow the ''Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum framework'', for our children to build skills in all seven areas of learning. Parents are able to share in viewing and engaging with learning through the children''s individual learning journey on our ''Tapestry'' App. Families can choose to upload photos and activities to form and further develop their child''s learning journey. We believe it is important for us to work closely with our children''s families to build positive relationships, enabling children to progress and flourish in their development.
