I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder with 3 children of my own. I am a qualified teacher, Level 3 Forest School Leader, & previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner. I hold Level 3 Childcare in the Home, up to date Outdoor & Paediatric First Aid, & training in Anaphylaxis/Allergies. I do regular training courses to help me develop & update my practice/understanding of child development, and volunteered for just over 5 years with my local Children''s Centre running Stay & Play and Music & Movement groups. My setting is focused on child led learning, following the interests of the children I care for to help them learn & develop. We make use of loose parts & lots of open-ended resources, Forest School sessions visiting local woodlands & spend time outdoors every day (access to my secure garden at all times). We enjoy stories, messy play, being creative, active play, visiting local Tots groups/parks/etc, music/singing, outdoor learning, and investigating our world. Find me on Facebook!
