I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I aim to provide a home from home environment for 2.5 years and older. I have a warm and welcoming setting where I offer various child orientated and play-based activities on a daily basis, such as painting and messy play, crafts, construction, baking, outdoor toys and trips. I also lead the Pre-school in the village so offer wrap around care for preschool children and school aged children. I have been a Primary School Teacher since 2007 and recently left teaching in February 2017 to childmind full time. I have over 12 years of experience working with children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. This includes raising my own two young children. Since University I have tried to focus on Special Educational Needs and have experience of this within both Early Years and the primary classroom. I believe children can learn and develop at their own pace whilst having fun.
