I have been a childminder for many years. I am open from Monday to Friday, 7am till 6pm, term time only.
I do school drop offs and pick ups from C of E William street school, Loughborough.
I enjoy being with children of all ages.
The day generally consists of plenty of outdoor play in various local places , with calmer activities such as reading, craft work, playdough etc.
A lot of my 'planned' activities get changed as the children come in with exciting ideas and interests.
I encourage the children to adopt good manners, independence and self confidence, listening to their thoughts, ideas and worries.
I believe in strong communication between myself and parents/careers. I also believe in a healthy lifestyle, leading with example through exercise and healthy eating.
