Captain's Cabin Pre-School is dedicated to providing a fantastic learning experience for children as they take their first steps on the road to a great education. The provision provides a wraparound experience so that children can attend from 7:30am to 5:45pm. This helps to support all families meet their childcare needs. Captain's Cabin is set within the school environment and the children are integrated with our EYFS children in the main school. This really helps children to prepare for transition to primary school. The school environment means that children have access to a wide range of facilities: pond dipping, forest school, cooking, hot meals at lunch time and a large outdoor learning space are just a few examples. The pre-school team are very experienced in the early years curriculum and have specialism in communication friendly environments to support the communication skills for our children.
