Waltham Pre-school is part of Waltham Primary School within Rise Multi-Academy Trust. It is a friendly setting based in the village of Waltham-on-the-Wolds, in the heart of Leicestershire. The setting is used by families living in Waltham and surrounding villages as well as those living in Melton and Grantham. Waltham-Pre school feeds into all local primary schools. We have a highly qualified team of staff with many years experience in childcare and we pride ourselves on high staff to child ratios to create a comprehensive and stimulating environment. The manager at Waltham Pre-School is Sian Morris. We provide high quality childcare in a caring environment, focussing on the needs of the children and their families. We are based in a self-contained, purpose built facility, built in 2010 within the grounds of the school, with access to various outside learning areas including the school''s woods and newly built school hall. Children have lots of opportunities to take part in enrichment activities such as Forest Schools, dance and outdoor learning. We are registered with Ofsted for a maximum of 26 children aged 2 to 4 years old, to attend the setting at any one time. Our most recent Ofsted in April 2023, as part of the school, was judged good in all areas.
