You can't join online if you are under 16. If you're under 16 you will need to come into any Leicestershire library with details of a parent or guardian.

You’ll be issued with an online joiner number. With this you can:
- Borrow from our digital library
- Use the online reference library
- Request books through the online catalogue
You’ll need to pop into a library to be issued a physical card – you can only take books out or use Smart libraries if you have a card. Simply explain that you have joined online, and remember to bring your online joiner number and some ID.
