A new approach to disability

Whole life disability

We're creating a new strategy for disability in Leicestershire

We want to make it easier for disabled people of any age to live healthy, safe, independent and fulfilling lives in their own communities - with greater employment opportunities, better health and community relationships, and more control over support.

We’re working with the NHS, district councils, disabled people and others to create a new approach for Leicestershire.
