The Leicestershire and Rutland Environment Records Centre (LRERC) provides biodiversity advice to the planning services at:

  • Leicestershire County Council
  • Blaby District Council
  • Harborough District Council
  • Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council
  • Melton Borough Council
  • Rutland County Council
  • North West Leicestershire District Council
  • Oadby and Wigston Borough Council

Applicants needing planning permission for a development in these areas may need to provide biodiversity survey information up-front with their planning application.
